Beginning next year, Ryanair will operate additional flights between Aberdeen and Krakow.

Beginning on April 2, 2025, the low-cost airline will fly to the Polish city from Aberdeen Airport. Twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, flights will depart.

Ryanair currently operates flights from Aberdeen to Gdansk, Poland, and this additional destination will be the airline's fourth route from Aberdeen.

"This new route to Krakow is a fantastic addition to our network, and we are delighted that Ryanair has responded to passenger demand by introducing this service," stated Chris Tibbett, Aero Director for AGS Airports.

One of the most visited cities in Europe is Krakow, which is renowned for its lively culture and extensive history. With the extra benefit of more frequent service on our Faro route, this is fantastic news for our passengers and demonstrates Ryanair's dedication to providing more options from Aberdeen.

It follows yesterday's announcement that a major management company has acquired Aberdeen Airport's owner, AGS Airports, in a deal anticipated to be finalised by the end of the year.

For an enterprise value of £1.53 billion, AGS Airports was purchased from Ferrovial and Macquarie. It is anticipated that the deal would close in 2025's first quarter.
