Jet2 will arrive at the airport for the first time in February, bringing with it two aircraft.
Due to demand, Jet2's launch was accelerated by two months, and in 2025, it will offer 20 flights around Europe, the Canary Islands, and the Mediterranean.
Because of the high demand for Jet2's vacations, the Leeds-Bradford-based airline plans to launch a second aircraft in 2026.
