Ryanair is having a ticket sale to commemorate these important anniversaries in Bucharest. Tickets are beginning at €19.99 and can be booked exclusively on ryanair.com through Sunday, August 11.
A representative for Ryanair stated:
We are proud to commemorate ten years of business and fifteen million Ryanair travellers via our Otopeni base. These noteworthy achievements confirm Ryanair's ongoing expansion and commitment to Bucharest, where it will base two aircraft this summer for an estimated $200 million, sustaining approximately 1,500 jobs in the area. Ryanair is offering over 370 weekly flights on 35 amazing routes, including its three new summer routes to Leeds, Malaga, and Skiathos, from Otopeni Airport this summer—our busiest schedule to yet.
This year, Ryanair has grown its market share in Romania by more than 20%, even while rival carriers are cutting capacity. Given competitive airport expenses in Romania, Ryanair has the capacity to grow much more there. We are eager to collaborate with our airport partners in order to keep providing Romania with more affordable growth in the upcoming years.
