The low-cost airline offered substitute flights to thousands of passengers impacted by the pilot strike, and those flights are already fully booked. Ryanair responded by increasing the number of return flights from London Stansted, Malaga, and Faro in order to meet the increased demand. Additionally, Ryanair stated that it has limited seat availability but that airline is negotiating with Aer Lingus and allowing certain "transfer passengers."
"We decided last week not to increase air fares in response to the Aer Lingus pilot strikes," stated Dara Brady, chief marketing officer of Ryanair. Many of our flights for next weekend are therefore fully booked.
Ryanair raised the number of flights it runs to and from London, Malaga, and Faro this weekend after Aer Lingus canceled hundreds of flights.
We are happy to be able to use one of our spare aircraft to add these additional flights to London, Malaga, and Faro for next weekend. We strongly advise any intended travelers whose Aer Lingus flights have been canceled to book as soon as possible in order to take advantage of these extremely limited extra tickets, as these flights will sell out immediately. While we have extremely little seat availability, we are actively collaborating with Aer Lingus to take a portion of their transfer customers during the school breaks.

Ryanair's chief marketing officer, Dara Brady, said, "We decided last week not to increase air fares in response to the Aer Lingus pilot strikes." That's why we have a packed schedule for many of our flights for next weekend.
"We have offered Aer Lingus some wet lease capacity over the coming days, if that will assist them to help disrupted passengers during these regrettable and unnecessary pilot strikes. We are working with Aer Lingus to assist disrupted passengers where we have seat availability." The beginning price for these additional Stansted flights is €270 per person, while the starting price for the Malaga and Faro flights is €330 and €340, respectively.
