Air France Boeing 777 from Atlanta rejected takeoff beacuse of an open door alarm

Due to an open door indicator, Air France flight AF687 from Atlanta was denied takeoff.

The request to return to the gate was made by Air France aircraft AF687 from Atlanta, USA to Paris CDG, France on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

The crew had to decline takeoff as the Boeing 777-200ER was ready to take off from runway 27R.

The aircraft (registration F-GSPA) was delivered in 1998.

Pilots contacted the tower about an open door alarm and requested to return to the gate.

About one hour later, the pilots asked for a shortcut because connecting pax were gonna be late.

Thanks to that, the flight AF687 landed only 30 minutes late in Paris.
