EU Plane Spotters |
This is the shocking moment when Storm Debi forced an Aer Lingus aircraft to cancel its morning landing at Dublin Airport.
EU Plane Spotters recorded flight EI106 struggling to descend against high winds.
Online users have been sharing a video of a plane being forced to abort landing at Dublin Airport.
The strong gusts from Storm Debi forced the Aer Lingus aircraft to abort landing.
In the footage, turbulence caused by the winds is seen causing the plane to rock back and forth.
It was approximately 11.26 a.m. this morning when the aircraft took off from Shannon Airport.
The Aer Lingus aircraft is visible in the footage hovering just above Dublin Airport as it flies over Irish skies.
It's evident that the severe winds are causing the aircraft to swing from side to side as it tries to land.
The wind then keeps rocking it till the plane's tail lowers and someone speaking behind the video says, "This will be an interesting land from the 3.30."
A different voice then cuts in after that, saying, "Oh! Vanished! Make your way around."
Abruptly, the aircraft abruptly lifts off into the skies, cancelling its landing at Dublin Airport.
The caption for the post reads, "A clip of Dublin Airport's Go-Around by EI106."
