Ryanair and Aer Lingus have announced a flash sale for Cyber Monday, which includes some amazing deals on flights out of Cork. This is great news for those who are craving some sunshine as the weather turns here in Rebel County.
Ryanair has reduced the cost of tickets on several routes; flights to sunny European locations can be reserved for less than €20, while seats to well-known UK destinations can be purchased for as little as €15.
You can get a cheap flight to London, Manchester, or any other European city if you're looking for a city break.
Liverpool or Birmingham; if you're itching for a sunny vacation, two discounted routes will take you to Mallorca or Venice.
To take advantage of the offer, travelers must book flights on Ryanair by midnight tonight and travel between 01/12/23 and 29/02/24.
On a variety of routes that travel between December 1, 2023, and March 14, 2024, Aer Lingus is also providing discounts of up to 25%.
There are a tonne of European hotspots available, with flights to Amsterdam starting at €33.99, but you'll need to act quickly. Prices will return to normal at midnight tonight, much like with the Ryanair offer.
In the upcoming weeks, Cork Airport anticipates a massive increase in traffic as eager travelers take advantage of their well-earned vacation time to fly to European destinations and as Irish expats return home for Christmas.
At Cork Airport, Ryanair offers 23 routes for the winter season, including five new routes to Barcelona, Fuerteventura, Paris, Seville, and Treviso that were revealed earlier this year.
Six other well-traveled routes that fly out of Cork have seen an increase in frequency from the airline: Faro, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Malaga, Rome, and Tenerife.
Additionally, a new B737 has been stationed in Cork, signifying a significant €100 million investment for the Rebel County and the creation of 30 well-paying jobs.
