On October 3, 2023, in Newberg, Oregon, US, a small plane lost control and collided into a house on North Cedar Street.
The Hillsboro Flight Academy, which is situated about 20 miles north of Newberg, is connected to the Piper PA-44 Seminole aircraft with the registration number N8360K.
Around 7 o'clock local time, Newberg emergency services received a report of an aviation mishap. At the time of the event, the plane was carrying two passengers. One was pronounced dead at the site, and the other had critical injuries and needed to be taken to the hospital.
The house's floor was hit by the airplane as it plunged through the roof. However, there were no recorded injuries on the ground, and the impacted home's occupants were uninjured.
A Newberg resident's video of the events leading up to the terrible plane crash is currently making the rounds on social media.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are both actively looking into the crash's cause.
Local officials have encouraged citizens to stay away from the crash site's immediate area in order to protect the safety of both the general public and the investigators.
