170,000 Round-Trip Discounted Tickets on Singapore Airlines Are Available for Grabs

For many travelers, Singapore Airlines is the airline of choice, and it frequently ranks highest on the list. The carrier's overall appeal is enhanced by its award-winning service and easy connections at the fantastic Changi Airport in Singapore.

Additionally, the airline has revealed that thousands of tickets for travel through September 2024 would shortly be discounted.

More than 170,000 tickets for round-trip discounts

For travel between January and September 2024, Singapore Airlines has revealed that it will be discounting more than 170,000 round-trip tickets in its business class, premium economy, and economy class cabins. These tickets will go on sale online on November 3 and remain available until November 16th.

The carrier's 71 destinations are covered by the tickets, which will also be on sale at the three-day Time to Fly travel fair in Singapore from November 3–5, together with special travel offers from participating travel agencies and partners. According to Singapore Airlines Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Lee Lik Hsin, discounted Scoot tickets are also available.

“Our biggest Time to Fly travel fair offers customers attractive discounts on 170,000 round-trip SIA tickets and 200,000 one-way Scoot tickets, from Singapore to around the world. SIA and Scoot are pleased to offer our customers greater options and value as they make their travel and holiday plans for 2024, and as we return to pre-pandemic levels of operations.”

Recovery in Motion

The well-known airline is already doing fairly well in terms of passenger recovery, so it should see a lot of interest in its cheap tickets. According to Simple Flying's earlier in-depth analysis, Singapore Airlines and its low-cost affiliate, Scoot, appear to be making a full comeback based on their most recent financial results.

Despite the fact that the total seat capacity in Southeast Asia is still about 20% below 2019 levels, Singapore Airlines and Scoot are defying the trend and have returned to levels similar to those before the epidemic.

A total of 2.9 million passengers were flown by both airlines in September, up 36% from the previous year and 93% from the 3.1 million passengers in September 2019. Separately, Scoot flew 1.04 million people, up 55% from the previous year, and Singapore Airlines flew 1.86 million, up 27% from the previous year.
