British Airways has increased the amount of content accessible through its inflight entertainment (IFE) system by twofold since the year's beginning. In the upcoming weeks, the airline will also roll out new menu updates in lounges and onboard flights.
British Airways increases its selection of entertainment
Since the beginning of the year, a tonne of new films, TV series, songs, and podcasts have been added to BA's inflight entertainment, more than tripling the variety of entertainment options available to passengers. This consists of 20 iconic brands and more than 75 complete box sets, such as the entire Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, and Mission Impossible series.
British Airways’ Chief Customer Officer, Calum Laming, said,
"We know just how important it is to provide a great range of entertainment for our customers to enjoy during their journeys, and it’s one of the things they look forward to most when they fly with us, so we’ve been working hard to source new content, doubling the amount available at our customers’ fingertips."
The British airline has partnered with American entertainment platform Paramount+, as it was revealed at the end of last year, offering customers access to renowned franchises and specially created content. This contains "British Original" material such as highlights from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the television programmes The Flatshare, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, and Rabbit Hole: The Algorithms of Control.
