A KLM scheduled flight operating from Bangkok (BKK) to Amsterdam (AMS) has declared an emergency route and is currently on diversion to Dubai (DXB).
An emergency route has been declared and a KLM planned aircraft from Bangkok (BKK) to Amsterdam (AMS) is currently being diverted to Dubai (DXB).
While above Iran, KLM flight KL 876, a Boeing 777-200ER with the registration PH-BQL, squawked 7700 and reported a general emergency.
The airplane is currently on a direct course to Dubai from the Teheran Flight Information Region (FIR) in Iran.

At this point, it's unclear what the emergency is.
A 17-year-old Boeing 777-200ER airplane flying flight KL 876 is currently descending through 16,000 feet as it approaches Dubai International Airport (DXB).
Visual flight rules (VFR) apply to the weather for the aircraft's arrival.
